My father-in-law is in Alicia Nursing Home and I cannot speak more highly of the place, the staff, and the care. My father-in-law has been in a few places before here and has experienced some awful care, so I am super careful and watchful of him.
From start to now, the manager has been so transparent and available. The staff are incredible. They all know my father-in-law's name, they ask us regularly if there is any other way they can help him feel more comfortable or if there are any other foods he would like.
He is so happy there. There are so many things I can say positively. I have no negatives and I do look for them. Thank you to the manager and the awesome staff, you have helped my father-in-law feel safe and looked after. What more could we ask for!

Our mum has been a resident of Alicia Care Home for about four years. She has had the most wonderful care during her time there. The care staff are led by a fantastic management team, who are always supportive, open and honest with us as a family, as well as ensuring that care staff treat residents
with respect, kindness and compassion.
Care staff appear to be genuinely interested and willing to go the extra mile for residents. We are able to visit at any time, which is a bonus and gives us the feeling that it's not a contrived situation when we walk through the door.
Although Alicia isn't a sleek, surgically shiny place to look at, we would highly recommend that you consider Alicia's Care Home if you want a homely, relaxed, safe and happy environment for your loved one.
It’s reassuring to know he’s well cared for
Peter’s Place offers a truly homely feel. The staff are caring and polite, and our Son enjoys the activities. It’s reassuring to know he’s well cared for.

Warm and friendly staff welcomed me and my brother when we first viewed the home. They all showed professionalism and a passion to give the care and support needed. There are always room to improve but to be honest I am struggling to think of any as the care, love and support you show my brother is outstanding.

My husband has been at Crescent Nursing Home since 2021, and throughout the years, his needs have changed continuously. I visit him every day and the staff have always been incredibly supportive, adapting their care to meet his evolving requirements.
It’s wonderful to see the same familiar faces—many of the staff have been here since my husband arrived, which really creates a sense of stability and comfort. The team truly care, always taking extra time to ensure he is comfortable and happy. I was touched by how beautifully they celebrated his birthday, making both of us feel special and included.
The team have consistently gone above and beyond
Since my father moved to Crescent Nursing Home, the team have consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate his preferences. They make sure he gets the food he enjoys and have even included special dishes from his culture.
My dad loves to communicate, and it means so much to our family that he can speak and listen in his native language, Tamil. The home’s diverse team meant we were able to find a key worker who understands him and makes him feel truly at home
