Meet The Apex Care Leadership Team

Andrea is a qualified solicitor with a background in child protection, having worked for two local authorities for six years. She has been part of Apex Care Homes for over 20 years and completed the Social Care Institute of Excellence (SCIE) development programme.

Alongside her role as Director, Andrea is actively involved in the wider care sector as a Director of Bedfordshire Care Group, contributing to her local care associations and sitting as provider representative on the Bedfordshire safeguarding board. She is passionate about creating a supportive, family-focused environment for both residents and staff. 

Mohan has worked for Apex over 24 years and leads on all aspects of Human resources and payroll, supporting managers and staff across the organisation. He ensures compliance with employment legislation and health and safety while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Mohan is committed to staff wellbeing, engagement, and supporting teams to deliver high-quality care.

Amanda has worked with Apex Care Homes for over 20 years and became a Director in 2021. She oversees the non-clinical functions of the business, ensuring the smooth running of operational support services.

Amanda plays a key role in maintaining organisational efficiency and supporting the wider team.

Ranee is a founding Director of Apex Care Homes, established in 1983. She has extensive business experience across multiple sectors, including care, domiciliary services and flooring and furniture. Ranee currently leads on procurement and continues to play an active role in supporting the organisation’s operations.

Susie is a founding Director of Apex Care Homes and a qualified nurse and midwife. With a long and varied career in nursing, she played a key role in establishing the organisation in response to the growing need for elderly and mental health care. Her experience and vision remain central to the organisation’s values today.

Fiona is a registered general nurse with extensive experience across health and social care. She has held roles in management, commissioning, and consultancy, with a particular focus on governance and quality improvement.

Fiona has supported a wide range of services, including care homes, hospitals, and GP practices, providing strategic guidance, regulatory support, and mentorship to ensure high standards of care.

Ashley is a Registered General Nurse with 26 years of experience. She has previously been a CQC Registered home manager and has worked as an independent care consultant within the care sector for 6 years with a focus on regulatory compliance and service improvement. She works as part of the compliance and operations teams to maintain the compliance for all of the 4 homes within the Apex Care group.

She provides clinical and non-clinical support, guidance and mentorship to the staff team and managers in line with best practice and regulatory frameworks, whilst maintaining good relationships with the wider multidisciplinary teams. Ashley strives to provide high-quality, person-centred care with continuous improvement to ensure that all service users are supported in the best possible manner throughout their stay with Apex.
